Description

A young scientist (Hannah Quinlivan) invents a cutting-edge volcanic warning system and returns to the tropical island where her mother tragically died, hoping she can prevent future deaths. The island is now home to the world's only volcano theme park and resort, the brainchild of its reckless owner Jack (Jason Isaacs). Chaos soon erupts when the once dormant volcano starts to rumble. It’s a battle with nature to get off the island while fiery death and destruction rains down from the mountain.

  • It’s a good film with bad dubbing

I actually enjoyed this film the visual effects are fantastic but, the dubbing is really bad. If you look past the dub and watch this how it is it’s a pretty decent film.
  • Well shot and acted

The plot is standard disaster movie fare; the cinematography is good and in camera effects are very well done. The acting is very good. The score is excellent. A fun albeit predictable action adventure.

Priced too high, so I won't be watching this movie any time soon.
  • Dubbed! Totally misleading trailer

The movie is dubbed - badly! The whole trailer leads you to think it’s in English but it is not. I do not mind subtitles but the dubbing is just cringeworthy... if I could return this and get a refund I would.

They need to add the chinese audio track. The dub is terrible.
  • Not Worth It!

Simply unrealistic, a lot of CGI. This is a typical Chinese Hollywood movie where they over dramatize. This was laughable all the way through to the music video running during the end credits.

Terrible acting. Chinese actors with English dialog dubbed over, with the exception of the careless, money hungry white guy who spoke English most of the movie. The hilarious part is that the people who were speaking Chinese and had English dubbed acted like they understood what he was saying in English. 🤦‍♂️ At the end, the white guy started speaking to this little girl in Chinese. He was apparently just too inconsiderate to speak it to the rest of the Chinese speaking people. If this movie was free I would’ve turned it off. Don’t waste your time or money.

The trailer was literally the only parts in English. Don’t mind reading subs but felt tricked and mislead. The language is even listed as English.
