Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing a wide array of foes including: Max Lord and The Cheetah.

I waited for the huge price decrease to get this. I should have waited longer, like way longer. They mutilated the timeline. CGI took a backseat on this one, folks. I can only assume that the Producers and Director were hired on last minute from Unemployment Job Search.
Bad Writing Bad Story Misdirected Focus
This was a horrible sequel to the great initial Wonder Woman film. The writing was sloppy and distracted the viewer from the story. I was hoping the action sequence in the beginning was a cheesy "movie within a movie" scene, but alas it was actually part of the film. Laughable. The direction to focus so much on the villain's storyline (Maxwell Lord) was a mistake. The viewer didn't care. Literally not interesting at all. Took us out of the actual story. Bad special effects didn't help - very video game/cartoon like. And I love Kristen Wiig, but she was basically every SNL character she's ever played. Very disappointing.
I had been looking forward to watching this after enjoying some great DC movies and the outstanding first Wonder Woman movie. Not even decent acting by Gal Gadot & Chris Pine could pull this out of the trash. Such a waste
#restorethesnyderverse. Let me start off by saying Gal Gadot is great. But she can’t be held accountable for garbage script and direction by Geoff John’s who is tanking these movies. #restorethesnyderverse.
Total disappointment! Destroyed what could be a good sequel
The only exciting portion of the movie is the first few minutes that shows Diana’s childhood - which could have served as a Segway to the movie but didn’t. Antagonist has to be as important as the protagonist in a superhero movie - here both failed!

Total Dumpster Fire
Enjoyed the original. How they went into the writers room and came out with this mess is beyond comprehension.
I would have walked out of a theater
I fell asleep. This isn’t a movie, it’s just a pile of scenes mostly in chronological order. It’s not a story, the characters aren’t reasoned, the plot toy that movies thing forward is WISHES, the Chris Pine character’s return adds nothing. There is basically no point to why anything occurs between the opening and closing credits. Why is this set in the 80s? How does the opening inform anything about the rest of it? Why does she make a shushy gesture to a girl while being stared at by crowds of people? Why does anything in this movie happen or matter? Patty Jenkins either had free reign for WW1 and got meddled with heavily here, or she was heavily handled for WW1 and this is more who she really is as a director. Either way, this movie is refund-level garbage.
Genuinely Terrible Movie
Listen, I never really review movies. I saw this movie on HBO Max when it first came out. It was long. The acting was pretty terrible. Characters are not well written and the plot is laughable. Really, skip this movie. It drags on and on.
